Photography Policies and Expectations

    • A 50% nonrefundable session retainer is required to book and hold your date and time.

    • Your session is not placed on the calendar until the retainer has been received.

    • All remaining balances are due before the end of the session. Images are delivered only after payment is made in full. Late payments will delay image delivery and incur a $50 late fee each day the payment is late.

    • Payments are made securely through card via stripe or cash.

    • If you need to reschedule, at least 72 hours notice is highly encouraged.

    • Each client is allowed one reschedule unless otherwise discussed and approved in advance.

    • If a session is rescheduled within 72 hours of the scheduled time, the retainer may be credited toward one future session. This credit can only be applied once and must be used within a reasonable timeframe.

    • Cancellations or failure to show up without proper notice result in forfeiture of the retainer.

    • If you are feeling unwell, please notify the photographer as soon as possible. Rescheduling due to illness is handled on a case-by-case basis. The health and safety of everyone in the studio is a priority.

  • Session time begins at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time. Additional time may be added if studio availability allows and will be billed accordingly.

    • The studio is a shared creative space and must remain safe and functional for everyone.

    • Unsupervised children are not permitted unless approved ahead of time.

    • Clients are responsible for anyone they bring into the studio.

    • Hair and makeup services are not included in session pricing.

    • Hiring a professional hair and makeup artist is highly encouraged for portrait and branding sessions.

    • For modeling digitals, models must arrive with no makeup and clean skin unless otherwise directed.

    • I have a dedicated team of professional hair and makeup artists if you need a recommendation.

  • Studio rental is included in your session price and covers access to all permanent sets, the cyc wall, studio lighting, and select furniture and props. Additional studio time can be added at a rate of $150 per hour if more coverage is requested by the client.

    • The studio includes basic furniture, stools, chairs, and minimal props. Seamless paper backdrops and built-in sets are available, depending on availability.

    • If a client requests a specific prop or item that is not currently owned, that item must be supplied by the client or approved in advance for purchase.

    • Any props purchased specifically for a client must be paid for by the client and are not included in the session fee.

  • Snacks and closed drinks are permitted in designated areas only. Food and drinks are not allowed near equipment, backdrops, or sets.

  • Custom-built sets are available on a limited basis and must be discussed ahead of time. Custom sets may require additional planning, materials, and labor, which will be quoted separately.

  • Certain items are not allowed in the studio. These include

    • Open flames

    • Smoke bombs

    • Confetti

    • Glitter

    • Paint

Please ask in advance if you are unsure about an item or concept.

    • Clients participate in sessions at their own risk. By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your guests. The photographer is not liable for injuries, lost items, or damages caused by client actions during the session.

    • Clients are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests during the session. This includes damage to equipment, sets, props, furniture, walls, floors, or backdrops.
